Looking for DATV DX

Hi there - you wanted some DATV news - well here in the 
UK a group of us has been fortunate to acquire a number 
of high power commercial spec 70cms 300W amplifiers 
that just need under 1mW of drive - they are perfect for 
DATV being extremely linear. 

For my part I have a Tandberg E5424 encoder/modulator 
which is upconverted with a MM 28Mhz to 70cms converter 
which I have re-crystalled and aligned to take 60Mhz input.

We have been exchanging pictures locally and accessing 
our repeater GB3BH but now are looking further afield 
(Europe) - so anyone out in France, Belgium etc that has 
a reasonable receive for 70cm DATV we want to know you!

Hopefully your newsletter is read across Europe and we 
get get some proper DX under our belts in the not too 
distant future.

We have opted for a transmit frequency of 436.00 Mhz 
Symbol Rate: 2.0 MS/s, FEC Ratio: 7/8, RF Bandwidth 
2 MHz approx. We have established a Yahoo group
